Former Guitarist/Vocalist of BOSTON Unveils New American Rock Show “Rock Stars & Stripes”
Concert at Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek Honors Local Heroes

After years of crisscrossing the country entertaining fans as vocalist and guitarist with the legendary multiplatinum band BOSTON, Walnut Creek native David Victor decided it was time to celebrate more than the music. It was time to celebrate America and the people that make the country great.
“Rock Stars & Stripes: A Rock ‘n Roll Road Trip Across America” does just that. Combining classic American rock hits performed by Victor and the cast, and live video, this unique concert comes to the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, CA on Saturday, November 12. Audiences are taken on a virtual rock ‘n roll road trip across America with a live performance enhanced by powerful and stirring visuals.
“When I was in BOSTON, the only way to know where we were performing was a piece of duct tape on the monitor that said the name of the city”, says Victor. “We never had time to get to know the people and the places. This show celebrates the people, their towns, what makes them unique and important,” says Victor. “And our video contributes to the story of the music we’re playing in a very engaging way.” The visuals are directed by MTV “Best Music Video of the Year” and Emmy Award winning director Jeff Clark.

In this divisive election year, Victor is quick to point out: “This show is about music, not politics. America invented rock ‘n roll, and music is our common heritage in this country. American bands like Journey, The Eagles, Bruce Springsteen, BOSTON, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith and many more. This show is about bringing people together.”
Real “Local Heroes” will also be recognized at each of the shows. Heroes include teachers, community advocates, police, fire or military organizations, volunteers -- anyone who has had a positive impact on the community.
