WALNUT CREEK, CA — Does your home have room for a new friend with four furry paws?

Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) in Walnut Creek is waiving adoption fees for all dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens from Wednesday, May 31 through Sunday, June 11, in an effort to send home all of their shelter animals.

Meet ARF’s wide selection of available pets online where adoption profiles are updated in real-time, or check them out in person at ARF headquarters at 2890 Mitchell Drive in Walnut Creek.

The adorable Brody, who stars in the video above and is pictured up top, is not available. He belongs to an Air Force pilot who is deployed to South Korea. Brody is chilling in the Bay Area until his human returns.

Brody is a mixed breed dog, fun-loving and gentle. If you would like to start making memories with a dog like Brody, all Arf animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and are ready to go home with you. Standard adoption criteria applies.

ARF Adoption Hours:

(Through June 27) Tuesday: Noon - 6 pm

Wednesday/Thursday: Noon - 6 pm

Friday: Noon - 7 pm

Saturday/Sunday: Noon - 6 pm

ARF’s core mission is the rescue of dogs and cats who have run out of time at public shelters, giving them a chance at life until a new home can be found. ARF couples this focus with innovative programs strengthening the human-animal bond for children, seniors, veterans, and people in disadvantaged circumstances.

Through ARF, people experience the unconditional love and acceptance of dogs and cats to fulfill a mission of “People Rescuing Animals…Animals Rescuing People…”
