Prior to a recent Assistance League® Diablo Valley monthly meeting, Logan Robertson, a Front Porch/Home Match representative, explained the program’s various individualized services that help clients find their perfect home share. Ms. Robertson’s academic background in Psychology and Organizational Leadership as well as ten’s years’ experience account for her novel and innovative solutions. The creative living agreement between compatible home mates currently serves clients in areas of Contra Costa, San Francisco, Marin and Alameda Counties.

One of its components, Magic in the Match, connects homeowner and renter who share the same values, interests and lifestyle. This win-win defrays the homeowner’s overhead expenses and provides more of a stable domestic environment for the renter. Agreements could possibly extend to house- and yard upkeep specifics.

Participation in Magic in the Match, complete with interviews, home visits, background checks and an extensive application, all free of charge, saves both parties time and worry. As important, Home Match local staff members help both parties design a Comprehensive Living Together Agreement as well as access to counseling and mediation services.
