Fundraiser: Area Groomer Offering Free Nail Trims For Pets
The date is May 31. And the charity is Umbrella of Hope Rescue.

As part of Maddie’s Pet Adoption Days, animal services company A Purrfect Groomer is offering free nail trims in Pleasant Hill on May 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a minimum donation of $1 to Umbrella of Hope Rescue.
The Contra Costa organization focuses on the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of animals from shelters and feral-fix programs. Umbrella of Hope is known for its umbrella logo tattoo given to its animals while under anesthesia for spay/neuter surgeries and/or dental procedures to identify them as being altered, as well as originating from Umbrella of Hope.
West Sacramento-based A Purrfect Groomer will be offering the service at Pet Food Express at 2158 Contra Costa Blvd. in Pleasant Hill.
