Gas Leak In Walnut Creek Capped

WALNUT CREEK, CA — The City of Walnut Creek reports that PG&E has shut off the gas in the area of North Main Street and Ygnacio Valley Road, where a major gas leak was reported.

The leak was report around noon. It forced the closure of the following areas:

• North Main Street and Ygnacio Valley Road
• Civic and Ygnacio Valley Road
• LaCassie, between California and North Main
• Arroyo and North Broad

Everything is returning to normal.
