Heroes Among Us - Honor Walnut Creek Residents Going Above And Beyond This Year

Every other month, the City will open a nomination period for two weeks, and nominees will be screened by a panel of community members.

2020 was challenging for all Walnut Creek residents, and yet we all know someone who stepped up and offered a hand during a difficult time without needing or expecting any recognition. This year, Mayor Kevin Wilk would like to recognize some of those less well-known champions - whether it is a health care worker, the essential worker ringing up your groceries, or your neighbor who decorated your street for the holidays to bring some joy - we want to lead a round of applause!
