Homelessness Forum Planned In Walnut Creek Tuesday
It will include how the community at large can get involved in helping local homeless people get back on their feet.
WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Walnut Creek Community Forum on Homelessness, featuring discussion of the local impacts of homelessness, especially for families with children, will be held Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. in the Oak View Room of the Walnut Creek main library, 1644 N. Broadway in downtown Walnut Creek.
The forum is expected to touch on how the Walnut Creek community deals with the various aspects of homelessness, how neighborhood concerns are addressed, finding ways to ensure everyone's safety, how to respond to homeless people's needs and how the community at large can get involved in helping local homeless people get back on their feet.
Representatives of the Walnut Creek Homeless Community Task Force, the forum's main organizer, have said Tuesday's forum will highlight on potential ways to help lift families out of homelessness.
