Sprint, which recently launched 4G LTE in Walnut Creek and Contra Costa County, just released this graphic explaining how a 4G LTE network works. Sprint also announced this week that it had turned on 34 new 4G LTE markets across the country, bringing their total to 185. Sprint 4G LTE became available in Oakland and Alameda County in August.
The wireless carrier is in the process of building out its all-new 3G and 4G LTE network and is projected to provide LTE service to 200 million people by the end of 2013. For more information, go to www.sprint.com/network; to see a coverage map, go to www.sprint.com/coverage.
