Hunt Hall Upgrade Heads For Completion
Seven Hills School looks for construction project's finish in 2012, timed with private school's golden anniversary.
is on target to complete its overhaul of Hunt Hall to upgrade educational facilities in time for the private school's 50th anniversary in 2012.
"It's a building that houses a vision of an improved middle school program," said Mary Murphy, director of marketing and communications for the private school on North San Carlos Drive.
Improvements students will see with the completion of the Hunt Hall project:
- a new classroom wing.
- a 140-seat performing arts theater.
- a multimedia and language arts lab.
- a wellness center.
- a refurbished science classroom.
- an enlarged gymnasium.
The $7 million project has been smooth with the generosity of parents, grandparents and alumni, said Michael Chamberlain, director of finance and operations for the preschool through eighth grade school.
The construction project started in 2010. Seven Hills School educates 383 students on nine acres.
