WALNUT CREEK, CA — California Wildlife Day will be celebrated on Wednesday at the Lindsay Wildlife Experience in Walnut Creek, officials with the organization said.
Since 2017, California has celebrated California Wildlife Day and everyone can visit the Lindsay Wildlife Experience on Wednesday at 1931 First Ave. for $1 per person. The experience will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
California Wildlife Day is celebrated every year on the spring equinox following a resolution passed by the state legislature two years ago.
