Las Lomas Ready To Make Its Run Friday
The second ranked Knights hope to get past seventh ranked Concord High in the NCS football playoffs. Berean Christian travels to Humboldt County for their match.

Can Las Lomas High continue its march through the Division II playoffs?
That's the question on the line Friday as the second-ranked Knights battle seventh-seeded Concord High, beginning at 7 p.m. at Las Lomas.
The Minutemen come in with an 8-3 record. Concord has won eight of their past nine, their only defeat coming against College Park High on Nov. 4.

Concord reached the second round by crushing Newark Memorial High, 42-7, last week.
Las Lomas defeated Washington High of Fremont, 27-6, in the first round. The Knights have a 9-2 record this season. Their only two defeats came against powerhouses Campolindo and Miramonte high schools.

The two teams played two common opponents this season. Both defeated Northgate High while Las Lomas defeated College Park, 21-14, the team that beat Concord, 31-22.
Meanwhile, Berean Christian High travels to Humboldt County for their second round Division IV playoff game.
The sixth ranked Eagles will take on number three seed Fortuna High, beginning at 7 p.m.
Berean Christian has an 8-3 record after defeating Moreau Catholic High, 27-10, last week in the first round. They've won five out of their past six games.
Fortuna is 10-1 this season. The Huskies' only defeat was a 19-7 loss to nearby Ferndale High School on Sept. 16. They've won eight straight since then. They had a bye week last week.
