Las Lomas Grad Leads College Hoop Team

Denver University is on a roll in men's basketball, featuring a 8-2 record with the help of a former Las Lomas High star.

Senior guard Brian Stafford of Walnut Creek, a finance major, scored 18 points in Saturday's key win against Boise State, and has moved into the top 10 on DU's all-time scoring list. Last year, the 6-foot-4 guard averages 12.9 points per game. In his senior year in high school, Stafford was the Diablo Foothill League's MVP.
