In conjunction with Walnut Creek Downtown’s “Trick or Treat” event, the Bedford will be hosting a LEGO themed party with hands-on crafts for kids, a photo booth, refreshments for the whole family, including wine for the adults.

The Art of the Brick features artwork by New York artist Nathan Sawaya, who creates awe-inspiring artworks out of an unlikely material: LEGO® bricks. He meticulously crafts these intriguing sculptures using thousands of bricks crafting beautiful, playful pieces, and transforming the popular toy into something new.

In addition to Sawaya’s sculptures, the Bedford will exhibit In Pieces, a collaboration between Sawaya and photographer Dean West, who have created a series of large-scale tableau compositions incorporating Sawaya’s LEGO sculptures into West’s photographs.
