Maria Maria La Cantina Walnut Creek Remains Open
The Mexican restaurant announced it will close its Danville location, but fans can still get their fix in Walnut Creek.
WALNUT CREEK, CA — The next time you eat at Maria Maria La Cantina in Walnut Creek it could be a bit more crowded. That's because the restaurant has decided to close its Danville location and encouraged patrons to make the drive to Walnut Creek.
The Mexican restaurant offers creative takes on Mexican dishes made with fresh ingredients, and was featured in Diablo Magazine's Best of the East Bay list for its margaritas.
"With a heavy heart and after much consideration, we have decided to downsize into one Maria Maria location located in Walnut Creek," the restaurant posted on its Facebook page. "We have loved being a part of the Danville community and hope you will continue to join us 7 miles away at our Walnut Creek location."
