Meals On Wheels Diablo Region's Online Auction Ends Wednesday
There is still time to support the organization's 50th anniversary, and maybe find some unique holiday gifts.
WALNUT CREEK, CA – Meals on Wheels Diablo Region's 50th Anniversary Holiday Auction closes Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 10 p.m., which means there is still time to browse the online listings and perhaps find a gift or two!
Available items include a weekend stay at Renaissance ClubSport Walnut Creek, gift certificates to Yoshi's in Oakland, Noodle Therapy in Moraga and Mary's Pizza Shack, along with wine tastings. How about a Niles Canyon Railway/Sunol Bosco's Bone & Brew Adventure?
The MoW agency, which serves thousands of seniors each year in Contra Costa County, provides home-delivered meals, plus a network of such support services as health and wellness activities and fall-prevention workshops and home-safety assessments -- with a goal of helping the area's most vulnerable older adults remain healthy and independent.
