Mount Diablo Interpretive Association Takes 'Halloween Trek'

In celebration of Halloween's mysteries, Mount Diablo Interpretive Association offers a guided, family-friendly Halloween Trek on Oct. 29.

What: In celebration of Halloween’s mysteries, Mount Diablo Interpretive Association (MDIA) offers a free, guided, family-friendly Halloween Trek to see what lurks on the mountain as the sun sets.

When: Saturday, October 29, 5 - 7 p.m.

Why: Join MDIA naturalist Liz Watson, on this leisurely three-mile walk to search for creatures that roam the mountain as darkness settles in. Bring water, snacks, camera, flashlight and dress for the weather.

Where: Mitchell Canyon Picnic Area at 96 Mitchell Canyon Road; $6/car with exact change only.
