National Society Daughters of the American Revolution

(Mt Diablo Chapter NSDAR)

The first ever virtual meeting of the Mt. Diablo Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was a success. Thirty-two members joined the meeting via Zoom on September 8, 2020. For many members it was the first time venturing into the land of Zoom.

With COVID-19 restrictions, this meeting was the first opportunity for the Chapter to install their new Board. Diane McLean, District 4 Director, presided over the installation of the new Board of Directors, as follows: Regent Kate Hare, 1st Vice-Regent Janiece Nolan, 2nd Vice-Regent Yvonne Beadle, Treasurer Janet O’Connell-Mangham, Recording Secretary Denise Lytle-Bray, Corresponding Secretary Pamela McDonald, Registrar Virginia Rood, Chaplin Valerie Jo Remley, Historian Sharlene Rednour, Librarian Debbie Vandenbroek, Parliamentarian Barbara Beratta.

Our Chapter welcomed seven new members Charlene Dobson, Cheryl Dobson, Beverly Erwin, Lola Ganse, Donalda “Dee” Logan, Jennifer Rizzo and Nancy Snider. Chaplain Valerie Jo Remley gave the Oath of Membership to those in attendance.
