National Night Out Planned In Walnut Creek

WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Walnut Creek Police Department will welcome members of the community at this year's National Night Out celebration from 5:30-8 p.m. on Aug. 2.

"In addition to WCPD's SWAT, Bomb Team, Drone Team and patrol officers," the department said in a social media post, "various representatives from the Contra Costa DA's Office (victim advocates, DA Inspectors, Deputy District Attorneys and 'Bear' the victim support services K-9) will also be in attendance."

Walnut Creek National Night Out will take place at Broadway Plaza.
