New Restaurant Sweetgreen Opens In Walnut Creek

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Walnut Creek has a new restaurant!

Sweetgreen opened its doors Tuesday serving salads, warm bowls and sides. Some of its favorites, according to the restaurant chain's website, are Harvest Bowl, Kale Caesar, Guacamole Greens, Chicken Pesto Parm, and Hot Honey Chicken Plate.

You may eat in the restaurant, or order Sweetgreen online.

The restaurant is at 1556 Mount Diablo Boulevard. It has seating for 28 diners inside the restaurant, and a fully enclosed glass room for customer pick-up.

If you're looking for summer flavors, try the Peach + Goat Cheese salad, Summer Teriyaki Bowl or the Pesto Summer Veggies side dish.

To sweeten their arrival in Walnut Creek, for each meal sold on opening day Sweetgreen donated a meal to its local impact partner, White Pony Express, to nourish Contra Costa County’s food insecure.
