In honor of the NSDAR (National Society Daughters of the American Revolution) National Day of Service and the 130th anniversary of the founding of the DAR the Mt. Diablo Chapter participated in the Walnut Creek Community Food Drive on Saturday, October 10th. Donations of food items were collected from chapter members, friends and families for the food drive, which benefit the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano Counties. Past Regent Jodi Noack gathered food at her home then a group of our Daughters delivered the food to the Walnut Creek Community Center.
