One-Alarm Fire Put Out at Mt. Diablo Boulevard Business

Firefighters extinguished a one-alarm blaze at a business in Walnut Creek this afternoon, according to a dispatcher.

Fire crews responded to a report of a fire at 2073 Mt. Diablo Blvd. at 4:20 p.m., the dispatcher said.

According to the company’s website, Mount Diablo Tile and Stone is located at that address.

The website advertises hardwood floors, cabinet and tile products.

Firefighters quashed the blaze within 30 minutes, she said.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation, she said.
