Park Playgrounds Now Open In Walnut Creek
All parks and open space are currently open. Playgrounds have also reopened, please follow these guidelines when using playgrounds.

All parks and open space are currently open. Playgrounds have also reopened, please follow these guidelines when using playgrounds. The City of Walnut Creek is taking the following action to help stop the spread of COVID-19 at the playgrounds.

- Posting educational signage at entry points
- Posting playground capacity signage at entry points
- Disinfecting high touch points on the structures and amenities 3-5 times/week
- Making sure restrooms are stocked to provide the public a place to disinfect before and after usage
City staff is not actively monitoring playgrounds at this time and any use of such playgrounds during this COVID-19 pandemic is ultimately subject to your own judgment and risk. If you or a member of your group feel unsafe while using the playground, we encourage you to take appropriate action to ensure your safety, which may include deciding to leave the playground and/or coming back at another time.
