All Power Restored In Walnut Creek

A falling tree took out power lines and poles on Ygnacio Valley Road.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — PG&E has restored all power in Walnut Creek hours earlier than expected.

The utility reports that 537 customers lost electricity at 1:07 a.m. when a falling tree on Ygnacio Valley Road took out power lines and poles. Originally, PG&E said that it would take to 5 p.m. to restore all power, but they got the job completed at 1:27 p.m.

Ygnacio Valley Road was closed for hours but managed to mostly open by noon.
