Public Art Walking Tour

Third Saturdays: docent-led walking tours of Walnut Creek's wonderful downtown public art collection.

The Bedford Gallery offers one hour docent-led walking tours of Walnut Creek's wonderful downtown public art collection on the third Saturdays. . Our Docents are trained by public art specialists and can offer information and insight appropriate for all ages.

Tours start at 11 a.m. and meet in front of the Lesher Center for the Arts on the plaza. Wear comfortable shoes & sun screen. Tours are approximately 1 hour. Cost is $5 per person (cash only) and includes admission to the Bedford Gallery.

Tour highlights includean up-close view of works by Stephen DeStaebler, Yoshio Taylor, Bruce Beasley, Beniamino Bufano, and others, as well as the Veteran's Memorial Plaza by Cliff Garten.
