Resident Reports Burglary Suspect Inside Her Walnut Creek Home

WALNUT CREEK, CA — A man was arrested Wednesday on burglary-related charges in Walnut Creek after a woman called 911 reporting a male was inside her house, officials said.

The resident, from the 900 block of Wiget Lane, called police stating she arrived home to find an individual inside, according to the Walnut Creek Police Department.

Arriving officers arrested and booked into county jail Randy Richards for suspicion of residential burglary, possession of stolen property, an outstanding warrant and probation violation.

No additional information was released.
