With school-aged children spending nearly 37 percent more on hair care than the average household with no kids, Snip-its is answering the demand for services by signing deals to bring 16 kid-focused salons to California. The nation’s fastest growing child haircut franchise is now announcing its partnership with multiple qualified franchisees who are committed to developing the Golden State.

As the leader in the underserved child hair care industry, Snip-its is dedicated to making haircuts fun for children and relaxing for parents. Positioned for a bright future ahead, Snip-its will kick start its state-wide development plan in October with two salon openings in Monrovia and Walnut Creek. Leading the new development in Walnut Creek are entrepreneurs and husband and wife duo, Greg and Colette Becker. Located at 2252 Oak Grove Road in Nob Hill Shopping Center, the salon will join a variety of other kid-friendly stores and restaurants. With hopes to further expand the brand’s footprint across the United States, Snip-its is targeting markets such as Minneapolis, Orlando, New York, Kansas City, St. Louis, Philadelphia and Miami. As part of the brand’s strategic market research analysis, prospective regions must include an average of 20,000 children under the age of nine and family incomes that range from $75,000-100,000 or higher.
