Street Closures Saturday For Walnut Creek Running Festival: Map
It's time to burn off the Christmas cookies, eggnog and Thanksgiving stuffing! Not running? — then avoid these streets.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Have you been training for months for the Walnut Creek Running Festival? Almost 1,500 runners are expected to to run either a 5K, 10K or half marathon beginning at 7 a.m. Saturday in Civic Park.
The 13.1 mile loop goes around N. Civic Drive, Oak Road, Treat Boulevard, Cowell Road, and Ygnacio Valley Road. The curbside lanes on these streets will be coned off and designated for runners.
Street closures and detours will begin around 5:30 a.m. Normal traffic will resume around 9 a.m.

Alternate routes:
If you need to cross Ygnacio Valley Road to access the Shadelands Business Park, enter through Via Monte. Also, Mitchell Drive and Shadelands Drive will allow access into the Shadelands Business Park from Oak Grove Road.
