Summer "Pops" Concert

On Tuesday, July 21, 2015, 7:30 pm, at the Lesher Center for the Arts, the Walnut Creek Concert Band, under the direction of Harvey Benstein, presents their annual Summer “Pops” Concert.

The program includes an eclectic mix of entertaining selections including the “Symphonic Dances from Fiddler on the Roof,” by Ira Hearshen, Goldman’s, “Chimes of Liberty”, Persichetti’s “Divertimento for Band”, John Gibson’s “California Suite, a music depiction of sights our audience is familiar with, Music from Star Trek, and a special appearance guest appearance by Oakland native and virtuoso violinist, Jeremy Cohen performing Jeremy’s Hot Fiddle Soup and the Theme from Schindler’s List.
