This Sunday in Walnut Creek: Pumpkins and Plants

Find pumpkins and plants perfect for Fall

Head on down to The Gardens at Heather Farm on Sunday, October 8 from 10am to 2pm to pick up some plants and vine-grown pumpkins for the season.

Enjoy strolling through The Gardens and stock up for fall planting with many unique plant species and varieties for sale in 4″ pots and gallons. The sale includes limited quantities of many drought-tolerant plants that thrive in our Mediterranean climate, including a variety of salvias, succulents and penstemons. Plus, take a stroll through the hillside pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkin (or two) to take home!

Garden Manager, Jere, will be on hand to assist guests with plant selection and answer questions. And remember to thank all the hard-working plant sale volunteers who help make this event possible.
This year’s sale will be taking place down in the garden behind the building. From the parking lot, walk down the ramp. Members receive 10% off their purchases. Proceeds benefit The Gardens at Heather Farm’s nonprofit public garden & education center. All proceeds benefit the ongoing maintenance of our free public garden and our education programs for children and adults.
