Tragic: Body Found On Bolinas Beach Possibly Golden Gate Suicide Jumper From East Bay
The 52 year old from Stockton was twice escorted off the bridge, authorities said.

The Marin County coroner’s office has identified a man whose body was found last month on Bolinas Beach. The 52-year-old Stockton man might have jumped from the Golden Gate Bridge because he was twice escorted from the famous span before, Chief Deputy Coroner Darrell Harris said.
His name is not being released because he is a possible suicide victim.
Authorities are reviewing security footage on and near the bridge to see if the man was there in the days before his body was found, Harris said.

The body was found around 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 13 in the surf line along Bolinas Beach about one-quarter mile west of Brighton Avenue, Harris said. Obtaining a fingerprint from the man’s body was difficult because of the body’s extended exposure to ocean water, and usable prints for an identification were initially unattainable, Harris said.
A usable print finally was obtained Tuesday and matched to the Stockton man, who was not reported missing, Harris said. There was no personal identification or property found on the man’s remains, but two of his shirts had markings from different organizations in Stockton.

The organizations were contacted but there were no matches to employees or customers, Harris said.
The coroner’s office had worked with the California Department of Justice’s Missing and Unidentified Persons unit to identify the man, but all potential matches were ruled out, Harris said.
Harris recently said a sketch artist might be employed to provide an image of the man’s face for media publication.
An autopsy was conducted on Jan. 21 but the cause and manner of the man’s death is still under investigation and is pending toxicology test results, Harris said.
