Tremblers In The East Bay: Did You Feel Them?

A set of tremors rippled through the East Bay Thursday and Friday including Contra Costa County.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — A trembler shook the area near Walnut Creek early this morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The quake happened at 12:46 a.m., less than two miles south of Walnut Creek, and was recorded at a depth of a little more than nine miles.

The epicenter was a little under two miles south of Walnut Creek. No injuries or damage were reported.

Berkeley also felt a set of quakes, including a 1.7 at about 6 p.m. Thursday and a 1.2-magnitude trembler at 3 a.m. today, according to the USGS.
