Video of Walnut Creek Car Theft Released By Police

WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Walnut Creek Police Department has released a video they say shows an auto burglary in progress.
Police say it happened in a parking lot in the 1400 block of North Main Street. Police say the suspect wandered around the lot before selecting this unlocked vehicle.
Police hop that enough people will share this video that a suspect will be identified even before fingerprint analysis comes back.

2. If you cannot take your belongs with you, hide them in the truck before you reach your destination. A watchful thief could breaking the window of your car and pop the truck release if they know there's a payoff.
