Wade into Pond Knowledge at Lindsay Museum

'Creative encounters with nature' workshop is Friday, May 4, at Walnut Creek museum.

If you want to find out more about the critters swimming and slithering around your toes when you wade into a pond, the Lindsay Wildlife Museum has a workshop for you from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Friday, May 4.

It's "Creative Encounters with Nature-Creek and Pond Life. "'Discover who lives where, all about daytime and nighttime habits and dive into the life of creek and pond habitats." The class is split into two age groups, 5-8 and 10-14. Fees are lower for children/ families who are Lindsay members. It's free for children under age 2. is at 1931 First Ave., Walnut Creek.
