Walk and Shop Walnut Creek Farmers Market, Then Cooking Class With Top Chef!

There are three classes coming up this summer at Tender Greens. Sign-ups underway.

Chef Sean, formerly the Chef de Cuisine for Navio restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay, has spent more than 20 years cooking at renowned restaurants across the U.S. and in Europe and is trained in classic French and Mediterranean cooking techniques. Originally from England, Eastwood received his culinary training at Courtfield Culinary School in Blackpool and Le Notre in Paris.

The first class will be on Sunday, June 14, at 9 a.m. with a seasonal focus on stone fruits (cherries, peaches, apricots, pluots and cherries), and will continue once a month all summer long. Each class will have a different seasonal focus and guests can opt for one class or take all three.

At each class, guests can enjoy an interactive, hands-on farmers market walk with Chef Sean to learn about the local produce with tastings along the way. With their farmers market haul in tow, guests will fully immerse themselves in the farm-fresh lifestyle by joining in a cooking class led by Eastwood, followed by a private lunch with wine pairings.
