Walnut Creek Appoints Interim City Manager

The Walnut Creek City Council appointed Assistant City Manager Fran Robustelli to serve as Interim City Manager effective Dec. 31.

From the City of Walnut Creek: The Walnut Creek City Council unanimously appointed Assistant City Manager Fran Robustelli to serve as Interim City Manager effective Dec. 31, following the Dec. 30 departure of City Manager Ken Nordhoff.

Robustelli joined the City in 2014 as Human Resources Director, and was promoted to Assistant City Manager in 2015. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida.

Nordhoff is leaving the City for the private sector. The City Council has hired Peckham & McKenney, Inc., an executive search firm, to assist in recruitment of a new City Manager.
