Economic Development Manager
This position pays between $114,719.28 - $160,606.94, depending on experience. According to the job description "you will serve as a connector of community and business. You will work closely with groups such as the Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Business Association and the Shadelands PBID Board. Using your independent judgement and professionalism, you will identify necessary resources to perform economic development and redevelopment analysis." Application deadline in Jan. 13.

Police Dispatcher/Assistant - Lateral, Full-Time
This position pays between $74,302.00 - $89,428.00 and is open to experienced dispatchers only. "Dispatchers work in the Communications Center receiving emergency calls, inquiries from the public and dispatching police officers via the radio to calls for service." Applications are on-going.
Hourly- Building Attendant
This position pays between $12.00 - $20.00 per hour, for less than 20 hours per week. This position involves monitoring community centers and library, equipment, and members of the public. You must be available some nights and weekends, so this is a great job for picking up extra money.

Hourly- Gym Attendant
This position pays between $13.00 - $20.00 per hour, for less than 20 hours per week. The City of Walnut Creek operates three gyms: Tice Valley, Foothill Middle School, and Walnut Creek intermediate school. Shifts include weekdays, weekends, holidays, early mornings, afternoons, evenings and late night.
Hourly- Lifeguard/Lead Lifeguard
This position pays between $12.50 - $14.00 per hour. If you are interested in becoming a Lifeguard, but do not yet have a Lifeguard Certification, you are able to register for Lifeguard Training class through Walnut Creek Recreation. For more information, please call 943-5859.
