Walnut Creek Couple Found Dead

WALNUT CREEK, CA — A Walnut Creek couple was found dead at their home Tuesday afternoon. Police say they died as a result of murder-suicide. The murder victim is 68-year-old Sarah Huber. Also dead is 66-year-old Richard Huber, Jr., who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after killing his wife, police say.

Police went to the home around 1:30 in the afternoon to conduct a welfare check. They found the bodies when they entered the home.

Police did not release a motive for the killings.
