Walnut Creek To Fill Openings On Police Chief Community Advisory Board
The city is currently accepting applications from those interested in serving as a member of the board.
WALNUT CREEK, CA — The City of Walnut Creek announced it has several openings for members of the Police Chief’s Community Advisory Board.
The Board was created in 2020 as a resource for the Walnut Creek Chief of Police in the formation of strategies, developing community policing concepts, increasing public awareness, furthering engagement and transparency efforts and identifying best practices, according to the Walnut Creek Police Department.
The openings are available to Walnut Creek residents. Applications are being accepted through Sept. 30 and can be filled out here.
