Walnut Creek Opens Land Use Plan Surveys
A 15-member advisory committee has been meeting since May 2016 to help develop the long-range Specific Plan.

From Downtown Walnut Creek: As a long-range vision for North Downtown Walnut Creek comes into focus, citizens are invited to review proposed land use and circulation plans, and provide their feedback via an online survey. The survey is open through August 16.
The input will be used in creation of a Specific Plan for the area extending from Civic Drive to Parkside Drive, and from Highway 680 to the Iron Horse Trail. A 15-member advisory committee has been meeting since May 2016 to help develop the long-range Specific Plan.

In addition to six advisory committee meetings, there have been three community workshops, followed by community surveys, designed to gather ideas from a broad spectrum of the community. The final community workshop took place July 25; the online survey includes maps and other illustrations that were reviewed at the workshop.
Please note that this is the last community survey scheduled for this project. There are additional ways to provide your input at future committee, commission and council meetings.
