Allow extra time, particularly during this first week.
Announcement from the Walnut Creek Police Department:
Today, the Walnut Creek School District started school for all of their elementary and middle schools. Please be extra cautious while driving near these schools.
Parents please allow more time for pick up and drop off your children as traffic during the first few weeks of school can be very congested.
