Walnut Creek Plans To Fell Two At-Risk Oaks

The city is making plans to remove two decaying oak trees on Oak Road this month.

One, near Charter Oak Circle, was damaged in a vehicle accident. An arborist told the city it is in poor condition, in danger of falling onto the sidewalk or street without warning.

The second one, a little to the north, has decay in its trunk, according to a city news item.
