Walnut Creek Police Arrest Man: Attempted Homicide Investigation
A second man was also arrested on weapons, drugs, identity theft, and other charges.
WALNUT CREEK, CA — Walnut Creek Police arrested two men last Tuesday, including one that is charged with attempted homicide. On May 21, police received a 911 call about gunshots in the area the 1200 block of Newell Avenue. A short time later, two gunshot victims were dropped off at a nearby hospital.
WCPD detectives worked with FBI Safe Streets Violent Gang Task Force, Daly City PD, San Francisco PD, and Antioch PD to identify the shooting suspect as 19-year-old Fayshan Segi.
Segi ws arrested in Antioch and booked into jail on suspicion of attempted murder. Police also seized three firearms, several high capacity magazines, numerous items from identity theft, and over 2 pounds of marijuana.

With Segi at the time of his arrest was Lovell Bronson. He was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana for sale, and identity theft.
