Walnut Creek Manhunt Ends With One in Custody
A helicopter and K-9 were involved in the search, but police credit alert citizens for providing the tips they needed.
WALNUT CREEK, CA — Walnut Creek Police Officers, a CHP helicopter and a K-9 unit all took part in a manhunt Monday afternoon that ended with one suspect in custody and two others escaping.
The manhunt took place in the vicinity of Olympic and Newell.
With all of that law enforcement effort, Walnut Creek Police credit local citizens for making crucial tips, "Thank you to our astute citizens who helped us apprehend one suspect and were able to notify us of the others being picked up by a vehicle."
