Walnut Creek Restaurant Flunks Health Department Inspection

WALNUT CREEK, CA - Vermin infestation, no running water, imminent hazards. The list of reasons why restaurants are closed by the Contra Costa County Health Department is stomach churning.

Since the start of the year, eleven restaurants have been shuttered including one in Walnut Creek. Most reopen within a few days after correcting the violations.
