Walnut Creek Seeks Recreation Leaders For Summer Camp
Anyone who has finished their first year of high school is invited to apply to be a recreation leader for summer 2022.
WALNUT CREEK, CA —The City of Walnut Creek’s Arts & Recreation division is looking for high school students 15 and older to work for its summer day camp.
The division is hiring recreation leaders (who are either 15 years old, or have finished their freshman year of high school), and senior recreation leaders (who are either 18 or older, or have graduated high school). Recreation leaders will work in the summer day camp and help with activities, trips, and swim days. They will also communicate with parents and staff, and make sure campers are safe and accounted for.
Experience is not always necessary, but applicants need a “good work ethic, a sense of teamwork, and a willingness to help strengthen our community,” according to a city posting.
