Walnut Creek Walgreens Looted: 5 Arrests

The suspects who were arrested are from Oakland and Santa Rosa.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Walgreens store on North Main Street in Walnut Creek was looted at about 10 p.m. Monday, according to police.

When officers arrived they found several vehicles in the parking lot and people inside the store looting it.

"Officers apprehended and arrested five fleeing suspects," police said. "They were arrested for a variety of charges, including looting and possession of a handgun."

All five suspects are adults from Oakland and Santa Rosa.

The store remains closed for repairs.
