Walnut Festival Kicks Off, Thousands Expected To Attend
The Walnut Festival is "celebrating 86 years of music, community and kindness bringing us together."
WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Walnut Creek Police Department advised the public to plan accordingly for increased traffic through Sunday on Ygnacio Valley Road near Heather Farm Park where the Walnut Festival is being held.
The festival kicked off Thursday and thousands are expected to descend on Heather Farm Park for the four-day event that offers family-friendly entertainment, live music, a large carnival with more than 15 rides, Kid Zone, a showcase of amazing local and regional talent including artists, craftsmen, designers, jewelers, builders, food specialties, craft beer garden and more.

Admission is $15 per person (free for kids 6 and under, 65 or older and active military with ID); or bring a can of food for donation and the price is $14 per person.
