Were You at Matt Cain's Perfect Game?

On Wednesday night, Matt Cain pitched the first perfect game in Giants franchise history. Heck, the Giants were around before my grandfather was born.

I watched the postgame interview of Cain on television. I thought AT&T Park looked very cool with people staying in their seats to bask in the glow rather than streams of fans heading for the exits, the normal postgame scene.

Patch editor Jacob Bourne formed perfect tears over the perfect game. And he starts thinking about his great-great grandfather and somehow gets to the Titanic and never mentions Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. His column starts like this:

"Few things make me cry. Sad movies won't do it — unless there are dying dogs involved. It's usually the happy moments that get me choked up. Reunions are the worst culprit of my embarrassing man tears. Two other masseuses of my tear ducts: the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco Giants. I'm too emotionally involved ..."
