Wine Walk Wednesday
Enjoy a walk, some wine and live music as you wander through downtown.

Looks like Wednesday will be a beautiful evening for a downtown stroll.
While you’re at it, why not add some live music and wine to your walk?
It’s time for the 5th Annual June Wine Walk, presented by the Walnut Creek Downtown Business Association (WCDBA).

The event, from 6-9 p.m., features a variety of outstanding wines to sample and several acoustic musicians performing throughout the downtown area.
The starting location is Residual Sugar (1684 Locust Street), which was voted Best Wine Bar in Diablo Magazine’s “Best of the East Bay” in 2011.

You can pick up a map of participating businesses and a wine glass at Residual Sugar (don't forget the wine!) before meandering through the many unique retail shops and restaurants of downtown Walnut Creek.
Tickets, available online at www.walnutcreekdowntown.com through June 19 (and at several participating businesses) are $30/person in advance, and $40/person the day of the event. Guests must be 21 or over to participate.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Walnut Creek Aquanuts and the Walnut Creek Library Foundation.
