Woman Airlifted to Hospital After Being Thrown From Horse
She was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.

A woman was airlifted to the hospital Sunday after she was thrown from her horse near Brentwood, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District officials said.
Firefighters responded at 12:25 p.m. to a report of a woman who fell from a horse near 100 Walnut Blvd. in an unincorporated area of Contra Costa County, fire officials said.
Emergency medical crews found the woman on the ground off a trail. Fire officials said that despite repetitive questioning, she did not remember what happened to her.

Fire officials said it was likely the horse got spooked and threw her off.
She was transported to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.
